Sunday Morning
1. Why is it important to be in a Sunday morning class?
We believe in the value of both the large-group experience (worship services) and the small-group experience (Sunday morning classes), but for different reasons.
The large-group experience is important because:
- It helps us get a common vision and biblical understanding as a church, which fosters unity.
- It gives us an opportunity to learn the scriptures from highly trained and gifted teachers who model for us how to interpret the Bible.
- It gives us an opportunity to focus on worshiping God with a diverse group of people.
The small-group experience is important because:
- It provides a much deeper level of fellowship and interaction, usually with people a lot like ourselves.
- It gives us an opportunity to pray for each other and minister to each other.
- It gives us an opportunity to ask questions and interact over the Bible and to pursue certain topical studies.
